Rector’s Order No. 4/2021 extended the scope of digital/online education until 1 March 2021.
1 Attendance tracking is crucially important in online education, therefore
a) the camera must be turned on during the online session(s) in practical classes, and at the special request of the instructor the microphone must be turned on; attendance is registered only in these cases,
b) as for lectures, the lecturer in charge of the course may decide to make the use of the camera and microphone obligatory on an individual basis, and he/she must communicate it to the students enrolled into that course in a Neptun message by 12 February 2021 the latest.
2 Digital education outside the classroom must be held according to the original timetable recorded in the Neptun system.
3 All times indicated in the timetable are Central European Time (CET).
4 Students are only allowed to make audio and/or video recordings during lectures, practice classes and examinations with the prior written permission of the instructor. Violation of this rule may result in disciplinary action.
5 With regard to the academic year 2019/2020, in accordance with Section 79(4) of Act LVIII of 2020, the University of Miskolc will not take students’ passive semesters into account when calculating the permitted passive semesters.
This order shall apply from 9 February 2021.
