DO APPLICANTS NEED ADMISSION FROM THE UNIVERSITY?

Yes. After they have accepted the scholarship, the host institutes will send a „Letter of admission” form.

WHAT DO APPLICANTS NEED IN THEIR MEDICAL CERTIFICATE?

They need proof of not having any infectious disease (HIV, Hepatitis A, B, C and any other epidemic condition).

WHERE CAN APPLICANTS GET INFORMATION ABOUT THE APPLICATION?

WHICH STUDY PROGRAMME CAN APPLICANTS APPLY FOR?

Only for those, which are available in the application system. 

CAN APPLICANTS CHANGE THEIR CHOICE OF STUDY PROGRAMME AFTER THE DEADLINE?

No, it is not possible.

CAN THE APPLICANTS APPLY STRAIGHT TO THE UNIVERSITIES FOR SCHOLARSHIP FOR CHRISTIAN YOUNG PEOPLE?

No. They can only apply through the www.scholarship.hu webpage.

CAN APPLICANTS SUBMIT THEIR LANGUAGE AND SCHOOL CERTIFICATES LATER THAN THE DEADLINE?

Yes, there is another deadline for submitting missing documents: 1st August, 2017.

Use fast and stable internet, and don’t upload too big files.

CAN APPLICANTS BRING THEIR FAMILY?

Only on their own cost.

WHY ARE SOME COUNTRIES NOT ELIGIBLE TO APPLY?

Because only some countries were chosen in this Scholarship Programme.

DO APPLICANTS NEED VALID PASSPORT FOR THE APPLICATION?

Yes.

DO APPLICANTS GET AN E-MAIL WHEN THEY SUBMIT THE APPLICATION?

Yes, they will get informed about the successful application once the deadline.

DO APPLICANTS NEED TO SEND THE CHURCH RECOMMENDATION BY THE DEADLINE?

Yes.

WHEN AND HOW WILL BE THE SCHOLARSHIP HOLDERS INFORMED?

All applicants will be informed around the middle of July via e-mail.

WHEN DO SCHOLARSHIP HOLDERS NEED TO ARRIVE TO HUNGARY?

Scholarship holders need to arrive to Hungary in September, until October the latest, or until the deadline the host institute sets for the students.

WHEN DO SCHOLARSHIP HOLDERS GET THE FIRST MONTHLY ALLOWANCE?

Only those students can receive their allowance who has signed the scholarship holder agreement with the host institute.

HOW DO SCHOLARSHIP HOLDERS GET A VISA?

Please read the Guide for scholarship holders.
